From the Desk of President

Dr. Neeraj Khunger

Dear Esteemed Members of ROS,

I sincerely thank all of you for giving me the honor of leading this prestigious society.

I have already outlined my key priorities and am working diligently on them with the full support of our sincere and dedicated Hon. General Secretary and the entire Executive Committee.

One of the foremost tasks is to form a Constitutional Amendment Committee to address the long-awaited constitutional amendments and electoral reforms. I must acknowledge the commendable groundwork laid by my predecessor, Dr. Virendra Agarwal, who worked tirelessly on this during his tenure.

Another important focus is to introduce new academic initiatives that meet the evolving needs of our profession in today’s fast-changing environment.

I also aim to reduce paperwork by shifting much of our society’s operations—such as directories and communications—from post to online platforms. This step will not only save costs but also contribute to environmental conservation.

Additionally, increasing the membership of both ROS and AIOS remains a top priority. We have already introduced several attractive schemes to encourage new members to join.

I assure you that the coming year will bring more socially and academically enriching events for all our members.

UNITED WE CAN

Warm regards,

Dr. Neeaj Khunger
